JuliusShulman.org's inventory contains works by many photographers. 95% of our inventory can only be found on JuliusShulman.org and has never before been seen or offered to the public. All our inventory came directly from Shulman's Hollywood Hills studio. JuliusShulman.org has never duplicated items in our inventory and therefore always honored copyrights. Our inventory consists only of original items obtained from Shulman's studio.
In 2004 / 2005 over 260,000 of Shulman's negatives were selected to be sold to the Getty Research Center in Los Angeles to assure that Shulman's works would be available to the public. The Getty Research Center did not purchase thousands of Shulman's original prints located at his Hollywood Hills studio. The Getty was only interested in purchasing Shulman's negatives. Shulman gifted his nephew Sam Heller the entire inventory of his studio which consisted of thousands of signed and unsigned prints and personal memorabilia which is now being offered to the public on JuliusShulman.org. JuliusShulman.org was created to assure the public has access to legitimate original Shulman works at extremely low non gallery prices. JuliusShulman.org pays all costs for shipping fees and website fees donating 100% of all funds earned from sales to worthy causes such as St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and Tunnel to Towers.
