The original Century Plaza Hotel, late known as the Hyatt Regency Centur Plaza is located at 2025 Avenue of gthe Stars, Los Angeles, California. 
The hotel opened its doors on June 1, 1966 in the area of Century City. Built on what was once the back lot of 20th Century Fox, the hotel boasts 726 rooms within 19 floors.  

The architect, Minoru Yamasaki was born December 1, 1912 un Seattle, Washington. He died in 1986.
