Nortronics Research Center moved to their new Palos Verdes Peninsula headquarters on April of 1961. Moving into their  50 acre development which is located on a plateau requires a slow move over a two month period due to the nature of their research and development projects. The two story building covers over 35,000 square feet and can be expanded in the future  to 40,000 square feet. The building is used for administration, offices, engineering  and laboratories will be expandable to 60,000. Other features include an artificial lake ithat will function as a half million gallon reserve of water for fire prevention.
